Is there Not a cause ….this is not a time for Apathy

Critical Times

There are critical moments in life, where the need to stand and be counted, is the difference between great breakthrough and advancement, or defeat and seasons of great darkness. There are times when not to act, is a decision to watch the enemy strip freedom and life from many and to consent to evil. As believers we should know better and its a time to be strong and very courageous. God is calling many to make a stand a make a difference for the kingdom of Gods sake.

One of the principles of spiritual warfare is found in Ephesians 6:10 having done all to stand…. When the enemy is on the prowl seeking whom he may devour. It is time for the warriors to arise and resist him steadfast in faith and to just say an emphatic NO you will not get this past me! Here is where I make my stand!

David the shepherd boy was called on to deliver bread and cheese to his brothers that were in the army fighting against the Philistines, however they were not actually fighting they were completely intimidated by Goliath the Philistine champion. The Israelites were resigned to the fact that they were not strong enough to make a difference. David showed up and saw a man without a covenant with God. Goliath….He was an uncircumcised Philistine. He looked at his brothers and the heard Goliaths taunts and his heart was stirred to action.

1. David and Goliath – 1 Samuel 17:29 (NKJV)

His brothers did not want him to act but David could not sit by and watch the nation fall into bondage to people who did not even have a relationship with God.

"And David said, 'What have I done now? Is there not a cause?'" (1 Samuel 17:29, NKJV).

David saw a cause greater than himself—the honour of God and the protection of Israel. While his brothers and the army were paralyzed by fear, David knew that God’s name and His people needed defending. In the face of intimidation and doubt, David stepped up.

"Then David said to the Philistine, 'You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.'" (1 Samuel 17:45, NKJV).

David recognized that the battle belonged to the Lord. His willingness to speak up and take action led to a great victory that would have been lost if he had remained silent and done nothing.

We are at a critical moment where God is calling the David’s of this time to step up and speak to the Goliaths and spiritual strongholds of this time and say I come against you in the name of the Lord of Hosts and in Jesus name we take authority over you and will take you down.

As we come into the latter part of 2024 it’s a time to be more spiritual, more vigilant and to pray Gods protection over the nations. Goliaths have risen up with a plan to destroy many and to bring nations into bondage. We need to pray for Israel and for their deliverance, also for the United States election and for Donald Trumps continued protection. We need to pray that the United States will continue to be a beacon of freedom to the World. That the gospel will continue to be preached unhindered, so that many can experience salvation and life. Pray for your nation and for your Church that it will be a light that is on a hill that many will come to the brightness of that light. Pray for courageous Men an women of God to arise and carry out great exploits of faith!

God Bless
