Is God really in Control?
God is not responsible for decisions that are contrary to his will.
Adam and Eve sinned and forfeited their place of authority in the garden of Eden. The Bible tells us that now Satan is the god of this world. When did Satan become the god of this world? It was after Adam and Eve sinned.
Whose minds the god of this age (Satan) has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. 2 Cor. 4:4
God is ultimately in control and the Bible teaches the end from the beginning. However, he is not in control of everything that goes on in our fallen world. He watches over the good and the evil but does not control it. If he did that would make him evil and guilty of all the troubles that are in our world. He is not responsible for decisions that are made contrary to his will that have often far reaching implications.
In the beginning God created Mankind, male and female he created them He put them in a garden and said to look after it. He delegated authority to Adam and Eve; they chose to rebel and sin against the one thing God said not to do. The fall of man was not Gods fault it was Mans decisions they made which they were in control of. God was not in control of Adam and Eve when they were sinning. Adam and Eve were in control of their own decisions. They had free will to do what God wanted or to disobey. They chose the latter, the same freedom exists today. This is the source of much of the trouble that takes place in our world. People have chosen to rebel against the guidelines in the scriptures. God has given these as a blueprint for good living.
The result is all kinds of suffering starving Children, homeless people. broken families, wars, greed, suffering, sickness, disease and poverty. It comes as a direct result of human choices where people have been influenced by the God of this world Satan. To do things contrary to the revealed will of God clearly portrayed through the scriptures.
We are called to walk in God given Authority.
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Gen 1:26
God gave control to man and Man gave it to Satan. The way God comes back into people’s lives is through choices. God sent his only son Jesus Christ into the world to be a sin sacrifice. He invites us to give our lives to Christ and to make Jesus Lord.
When we submit to the scriptures and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit we yield control of our lives back to God through giving our lives to Christ. As we pray, intercede and teach the principles of the scriptures we release Gods Kingdom in the earth.
The Church of Jesus Christ is built up and there is domain established where God is in control, as long as people are submitted to his will. His blessing, deliverance and healing flows from this place. It does not happen by default it happens by choice.
Jesus taught his disciples to follow him and to teach others everything he taught and to do it by faith and on purpose.
Make a decision to surrender control of your life to Christ and allow your life to be changed. Make Jesus Lord, life is better when you yield control back to God who holds the future in his hands.
